Dr. Abhishek Raman is a distinguished physician specializing in comprehensive kidney care, advanced dialysis therapies, and renal transplantation. With a patient-first philosophy, he integrates advanced medical protocols with compassionate care to treat a wide spectrum of acute and chronic kidney conditions.
Education & Training
Dr. Raman began his medical journey with an MBBS from K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore. He went on to complete his MD in Internal Medicine from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. Driven by a passion for renal sciences, he pursued and earned his DrNB in Nephrology from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi—one of the premier medical institutions in the country.
Professional Experience & Key Achievements
Before establishing his current practice, Dr. Raman served as a Registrar in Nephrology at the highly respected Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi.
A defining hallmark of Dr. Raman’s career is his extensive surgical and clinical exposure. He has been directly involved in over 500 kidney transplants. This vast experience includes successfully managing ABO-incompatible kidney transplants, showcasing his capability to handle highly complex immunological challenges in renal care.
